Vice Governor Guo Yuanqiang met on Friday with Mr. Sanchez, the lieutenant governor of New Mexico of the United States, and Mr. Bentley, the deputy leader of Essex County Council, England.
During the meeting with Sanchez, Guo Yuanqiang hoped that Jiangsu would enhance its close communication with the New Mexico State Government, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, deepen cultural exchanges, and continuously enhance the level of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
Sanchez stated that New Mexico hopes to strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two regions in the fields of economy and trade, science and technology, and culture.
When meeting with Bentley, Guo Yuanqiang hoped both sides would take the signing of the memorandum of understanding on further deepening the friendship and cooperation between Jiangsu and Essex to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation in the all-round, multi-level, and wide-ranging areas so as to better benefit the two places.
Bentley hoped that both sides would promote cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, big data, and health.
