Knitwear companies from Jiangsu were thrust to the spotlight at the three-day 100th China Knitwear Fair that was kicked off Wednesday at the Shanghai International Expo Center. They have used new fabrics and new technologies to interpret the latest trends.
The Jiangsu enterprises highlighted new fabrics and new technologies at the knitwear fair. At the launch ceremony of household new products, Wuxi Hongdou unveiled a series of innovative products including the new fabric red bean cotton, which is healthier and more comfortable than previous fabrics.
Some knitwear enterprises from Jiangsu have used new technologies to make innovations in fabrics and clothing. As the graphene technology becomes more and more mature, many companies have developed a more extended function of the heating clothes with the help of graphene's own heating characteristics. An ordinary garment with graphene material placed inside can have its temperature raised to 30 degrees Celsius when connected with the charge pal.
Since its inception in the 1950s, the China Knitwear Fair has become a benchmark in the domestic textile and clothing industry. As a major province of textiles and garments, Jiangsu has posted trillion yuan of sales volume from the knitwear business for eight consecutive years with its production and sales scale continuing to rank first in the country.
