The Jiangsu deputies to the first session of the 13th National People's Congress returned to Nanjing on Tuesday evening. During the annual legislative session of the NPC, the Jiangsu deputies demonstrated a high sense of political responsibility and historical mission, put forth motions and proposals, and fulfilled their duties according to the law. The deputies held that president Xi Jinping’s keynote speech at the closing ceremony eulogized the great people, the great nation, the great national spirit, the distinctive concept of governance, and profound feelings for the people, encouraging the cadres and the masses to follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and strive to realize the Chinese dream of a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
They all agreed that they should closely unite around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, make new achievements and victories, and march toward the great goal of national rejuvenation.
