The Chinese city of Nanjing has been selected to stage the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League Finals for three consecutive years, from 2018-2020, the FIVB announced on Wednesday via its official website.
The Nanjing Olympic Sports Center, a 13,000-seater stadium, will host the finals from June 27-July 1 this year, with six top teams competing for the inaugural Volleyball Nations League champion.
Nanjing is the capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province and has been host to many sporting events, including the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and the 2005 National Games of China, as well as the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Finals in August 2017.
The Volleyball Nations League is a revolutionary event from the FIVB.
