Yangzhou Cuisine will be the main character in A Bite of China Season 3 that will be broadcasted on China Central Television from February 19th, the 4th day of Chinese New Year, according to Yangzhou Cuisine Association. There are 8 episodes in the 3rd season. The 4th and 8th episodes will mainly introduce cuisines from Yangzhou and stories behind them.
The 3rd season will still be narrated by Li Lihong, a famous narrator in China.
The first season of A Bite of China received critical reviews from the public both home and abroad. The third season aims to bring audience the same touching moments as well as knowledges about Chinese cuisine.
General Secretary of Yangzhou Cuisine Association Qiu Yangyi said that the production unit came to Yangzhou last year to film the whole process of making Yangzhou dishes, from the planting of raw materials to the different kitchen wares for the dish.
The third season also splits a whole episode to tell stories of the kitchen wares. The shooting of intangible cultural heritage inheritor Xue Quansheng is based on this topic.
