The Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute signed a memorandum of understanding Friday afternoon on the launch of Venture Capital and Growth Fund for the clustering development of the british innovative resources in Jiangsu.
An investment fund of up to 1 billion yuan will be launched as one of the important achievements of the Sino-British Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum.
Under the framework agreement, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and the 8GT will make joint efforts to attract the settlement in China of excellent innovative technology projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, new materials and biomedicine.
In recent years, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute has played an important role in the introduction of worldwide innovative resources into Jiangsu by soliciting 50 project managers across the world, establishing strategic cooperation with more than 30 prestigious universities and research institutes around the world and launching nearly 50 international cooperative projects.
