China Post released stamps for the New Year on January 10th. The 1.2-yuan stamp is designed by the professor of Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University Wu Guanying. The title is written by famous calligrapher Ouyang Zhong. Hundreds of stamp collectors went to the Stamp Collection Center of Nanjing in the early morning for the New Year stamps.

This is the 4th time that China Post has released stamps for the new year. The two lovely kids named Huan Huan and Xi Xi in the stamp are greeting everyone in Zhuang Autonomous Region. The design of the stamp keeps the style of the last one, featuring a sense of togetherness and liveliness. It bears the wishes of people living happily and working hard towards the China Dream under the leadership of Communist Party of China.

The rice dumplings in the stamp represents harvest. The Zhuang people will always bring best food during lunar new year. Silk ball is the mascot of Zhuang people, representing love and friendship. On the table are traditional food like pomelo, banana and 5-color rice. The seeds of pomegranate stick together, representing the 56 nationalities in China unit together. Standing in the back of the two kids are traditional houses of local people. The spring festival couplets on both sides show the theme of lunar new year. All together, they form an image of joy and happiness.
