A tour exhibition on comfort women reached Southeast University on Monday to raise the college students awareness of the Japanese military comfort women system and the injuries inflicted upon many Asian women by the Japanese military during WWII.

40 display boards were put up in the first floor lecture hall of the library in Southeast University Jiulonghu Campus.

The exhibition is themed on the military sexual slaves, the Japanese comfort women system and its crimes.

It tells the students of the development of the Japanese military sexual slavery system during WWII, from the first installation to the widespread locations and the current situations of the surviving comfort women.

The tour exhibition will continue until December 15 before it is to be staged in other universities in Nanjing.

China suffered most from Japans installation of the comfort women system in World War II with comfort stations installed in more than 20 provinces and municipalities across the country. Countless comfort women endured mental and physical sufferings and the memories of blood and tears have become a lingering nightmare for the victims.
