The test run for the phase I project of Nanjing-Hexian light rail track is scheduled for December 6th, local sources said Monday. 19 stations are built along the 36-km subway line that stretches from Nanjing South Railway Station in the south to Qiaolin town in the north. When this light rail track is put into official operation at the end of this year, Nanjing will see eight subway routes being in service with the operating mileage reaching 294 km.
