The China-ASEAN Member States Senior Information Officials Meeting was held at Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, on the morning of Nov 22.
In the afternoon, the ASEAN information officials joined a tour in Suzhou. At the GCL New Energy Center, they learned about the development and application of the green and new energy, and at the Suzhou Radio and TV Station, they experienced the fast developing new media industry and cultural industry in Suzhou.
The foreign guests also visited Suzhou Silk Museum and Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theatre to feel the traditional cultural atmosphere in Suzhou.
At Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theatre, the last leg of the visit, they enjoyed the classical part of a representative Kunqu opera The Peony Pavilion.
