The Huazhi Research Center was inaugurated Tuesday in Nanjing under the joint sponsorship of the provincial office for overseas Chinese affairs and Nanjing University. Chen Zhenning, Vice Governor of Jiangsu, Chen Jun, President of Nanjing University and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of Nanjing University and Xu Rongmao, deputy director of the Economic Committee of the CPPCC and chairman of the Shimao Group, were among the celebrated guests that attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches. The Huazhi Research Center is the first think-tank composed of experts of overseas Chinese with a view to bringing together the vast number of overseas Chinese for the promotion of the global exchange of overseas intelligence.
