An award-giving ceremony was held Monday afternoon in Nanjing by the provincial government of Jiangsu to commend the winners of the Five-One Project Awards.
Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, made important instructions for the award-giving ceremony.
Lou said in his instructions that the Five-One Project Awards is the showcase and brand name of the province’s promotion of ethical and cultural progress.
Since the project was launched more than 20 years ago, Jiangsu has released a large number of outstanding works that have gained popularity with the people, he said.
The CPC provincial chief noted that the award-winning of 81 works has fully demonstrated the vigorous vitality of Jiangsu's literary and artistic creation and the fruitful construction of a culturally powerful province.
He hoped that the vast number of artists in the province will study and implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and act in accordance with the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era to enhance their sense of cultural self-confidence and cultural awareness and create more excellent works featuring the province’s promotion of ethical and cultural progress.
Wang Yanwen, head of the provincial publicity department, conveyed the instructions to the participants and gave the awards to the winners.
