Nanjing Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage was inaugurated at the new campus of Mochou Secondary Specialized School on Gaomiao Road in Jianye District, Nanjing, on Nov 18.
The institute will open a dozen of curricula concerning intangible cultural heritage such as ancient book restoration, woodblock printing technique, velvet flower making, brocade knitting and Qinhuai lantern making to cultivate professional inheritors of intangible cultural heritages.
The new campus is scheduled to complete in 2018 and put into service in 2019.
