East China’s Jiangsu province kicked off last Friday its 15th agricultural products fair in Shanghai to supply a wide variety of farm produce to the Shanghai consumers.
Themed on green consumption for a healthy life, 342 flagship agricultural enterprises, farming cooperatives and family farms in Jiangsu showcased more than 700 agricultural products.
These high quality agricultural products not only have the local characteristics of Jiangsu, but also meet the market demand of Shanghai. Fresh crabs, delicate and rich hawthorn wine, beautifully packaged burdock tea and other products of local features attracted a lot of Shanghai consumers.
Quality rice from Jiangsu turned out to be hot cakes, forcing many businesses to replenish their stocks as the first batch of fresh rice were sold out of stock on the first morning of the opening day.
