Suzhou Sports Culture Week will draw its curtain this Saturday to promote the development of sports culture by offering locals unique cultural experiences.
A sports culture exhibition will run through November 24 as a part of the sports week celebration activities to exhibit Olympic torches, mascots, artworks, old photos and videos related to sports culture.
A two-day forum discussing the construction of international sports city will be held at Soochow University. Experts from all over the country will gather to share their insights into future sports city construction and the development of the city’s sports industry.
A sports show will also be held to demonstrate traditional Chinese martial arts and dances listed as intangible cultural heritages, including Jiangnan Boat Boxing and Lianxiang Dance of Luzhi Ancient Town.
