More than 2000 teachers and students representing over 700 teams from Jiangsu-based universities attended the 8th Jiangsu Provincial Robot Contest that is going on in Nantong city. The contestants entered the competition to vie for the championships in ten categories with some rated as national events. Zhang Ziqi is a freshman in mechanical and electrical engineering at Nantong Polytechnic Institute. He was enrolled in the "Explorer" project which is to allow the robot to climb according to the prescribed route, to cross the obstacle and reach the terminal within the prescribed time.After more than two months of design and development, Zhang Ziqi's robot successfully completed all the competitions and became one of the few contestants to complete the competition.
