The multi-story car park on Pudecun Road in Yuhuatai District in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, offers a way to solve parking issues on narrow streets.
Pudecun Road has an average road width of 5 meters. There are three old communities, one primary school and one kindergarten there, and parking has become a headache. The local government will build a multi-story car park on the road. The car park, which will be 500 square meters, can accommodate more than 200 cars.
Zheng Yujie, deputy director of the Yuhua Community, said that the car park is not permanent. In the future, the car park will be relocated to a better place in accordance with local development.
