The Sheyang County Acrobatic Troupe from Yancheng city in East China’s Jiangsu province was invited to stage an acrobatic performance — Sharing the Beautiful Moon Although Thousands of Miles Apart — in US cities including Chicago and Gary, Indiana, from mid September to late October. The impressive acrobatic performance, featuring modern sound, light and electronic effects, is combined with music, dance, traditional Chinese opera and puppet elements.
The US trip is another of the troupe’s cultural exchange trips abroad, following performances in countries including Cuba, Suriname, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.
