Foreigners’ view of Jiangsu went to Changzhou city

  Almost 30 foreigners from 18 countries have participated Foreigners’ view of Jiangsu that was held last weekend in Changzhou city. In less than two days, they have been to the Grand Canal of Changzhou, experienced movable type printing of ancient China and visited Moujia village, which is called the most beautiful village of Jiangsu Province. Take a look!

  Organized by Jiangsu Provincial Government, Foreigners’ view of Jiangsu is aimed to make foreigners in Jiangsu know more about the Province by taking them to different cities. At the launch ceremony, the representative from local government said this is the 4th time that Foreigners’ view of Jiangsu has been held in Changzhou city. One student representative stood on the stage, sharing her gratitude to the organizers and expectation towards this trip.

  The first stop includes Canal No.5 creative street district and Grand Canal Memory Museum. The district used to be a woolen mill. And after 8 years of renovation and redecoration, it has become a place where all kinds of cultural activities are held. Among which, movable type printing of ancient China is something they will never forget.

  After that, they all went on a classic cruise of Jiangnan, or downstream area of the Yangtze river, to follow the path of ancient Chinese.

  The last stop is Moujia village, which is known as the most beautiful village of Jiangsu Province. Despite a drizzling weather on Sunday, the enthusiasm of the foreigners was not interrupted. On the contrary, they seemed to have quite some fun.

  Foreigners’ view of Jiangsu organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Governmenthas taken foreigners either living or working in Jiangsu to experience various parts of the Province since 2012. The trip to Changzhou is the 5th time in 2017.
