The Jianghuai Ecological Economic Zone should bring into full play its unique geographical position and role to give a strong boost to ecological conservation so as to optimize the development path and model for the attraction of high-quality resources and high-end elements to turn the economic zone into a hotbed for economic development. The remarks were made by Li Qiang, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee during his inspection tour in Huai’an city on Friday.
Li Qiang noted that the province’scoordinated regional development has reached a new stage and the promotion of the 1+3 strategy of key functional areasneeds to be acceleratedfor the new development layout to shore up the competitiveness of the advantages of the province's development and promote the different base conditions and resources endowment for the change the development ideas and the exploration of new ways of development by realizing the transition from regional economy to coordinated development of homogeneous competition
The CPC provincial chief remarked that the Jianghuai Ecological Economic Zone is of unique position and role in the province’s promotion of the ecological value, advantages and competitiveness.
Li Qiang also said ecological conservation if of vital importance to the social and economic development in the Jianghuai Ecological Economic Zone and the income growth of the local people.
The construction of Jianghuai Ecological Economic Zone involves important adjustment of the development mode, the development path and the development pattern through scientific planning and the advancement and the sense of urgency, the CPC provincial chief said.
