Nanjing Customs issued 20 measures on Thursday to support the development of open economy in Jiangsu province through the promotion of trade facilitation and enterprise transformation and upgrading. The measures cover 20 points in 6 aspects, such as promoting trade facilitation through the integration of customs clearance to ensure that the time spent on customs clearance will be slashed by 1/3 on the basis of the reductions in 2016. In terms of the promotion of the transformation and upgrading of the province's processing trade and the expansion of special customs supervision, the customs house will implement the enterprise-unit processing trade supervision model to ensure that enterprises can make independent assessment and clearance of their goods to be exported.
