A special activity featuring the ancient town of Shaobo, along the Grand Canal, was held in Yangzhou on Sept 9.
More than 200 guests from the ancient towns and cities along the canals of the world visited Shaobo Town, which has the largest number of heritage sites along the Grand Canal in China.
The ancient town of Shaobo has a history of 1,600 years. In recent years, the town has actively promoted the improvement and protection of the ecological environment along the Grand Canal, as well as the inheritance and promotion of cultural heritage.
