The finals of the fifth session of "Pioneering Jiangsu" Science and Technology competition finals went underway in Nanjing Thursday afternoon.
The outstanding teams and enterprises participating in the competition gave a full display of the province’s new style of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The entries for the competitioneach have 1 invention patent and nearly 1/3 of them have resulted from R&D endeavors varying from intelligent teaching system, 3D medical image, carbon fiber composite conductor to high performance foam aluminum, magnetic levitation bearing and augmented reality AR.
A group of in-depth and leading entrepreneurial projectsfinally won the recognition of the judges and were honored with different awards.
They will be included in the 2017 Provincial Science and Technology program support program and receive a total of 2 billion yuan in bank loan credit line.
The competition has been successfully held for five sessions since its launch in 2013.
Over the past 5 years, a total of more than 15,000 teams and enterprises at home and abroad have participated in the event.
35 entry projects have won awards in the Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and 17 award-winning enterprises have been listed on the OTC market.
