People in Jiangsu province have rolled up their sleeves to work harder for the convening of the 19th CPC National Congress that is slated to take place in Beijing on October 18.

The urban agricultural rice production base in Huaxithe alleged richest village in China, has witnessed the fine growth of paddy rice, thanks to the application of the modernized and scientific planting methods such as salt water selection and information management system. As result, the Huaxi brand rice has been awarded the golden prize of good rice in Jiangsu.

Since the Party's 18th National Congress, Huaxi has actively responded to the call for supply side structural reform of the country's agriculture by successfully developing a large number of new and emerging industries such as financial investment, tourism service, warehousing and logistics, and ocean-going marine engineering in addition to vigorously developing high quality agriculture.

Between January and August this year, Huaxi's available capital increased by 17% over the same period last year, making the villagers filled with energy and hope for the future in the sense of achievement.

The only way to make true the dream is working steadfastly. People from different walks of life in Jiangsu have been committed to their duties in anticipation of the 19th CPC National Congress. The taxation authorities in Yancheng city have streamlined the formalities for administrative approval by launching an online system which enables the applicants to go through the formalities in an hour rather than one week, as was the practice in the past.

The city of Huai’an has boosted the development of a tourism complex that reproduces the scenes of water transport of grain along the Grand Canal to Beijing in ancient times. The project is expected to better protect the Grand Canal for the inheritance of the world cultural heritage.
