XuAnqi from team of Jiangsu won the gold in women’s individual epee event at the National Games going on in north China’s Tianjin city.
Xu defeated her rival from Shanxi province 10:9 at the final of the women’s individual epee Tuesday evening.
Xu’s gold added to a total of 14 golds for team of Jiangsu. Xu won the gold in women’s individual epee event at the London Olympic Games.
ZuLijun, a player representing Jiangsu and the Army, claimed the gold Wednesday morning in men’s open water 10-km marathon swimming with a slim edge of 0.16 seconds. This is also the first swimming gold for team of Jiangsu.
Wu Xiao, a veteran air pistol player from Jiangsu, was placed the fourth in the final of men’s 10-m air pistol event.
