Jiangsu’s Zhenjiang is scheduled to hold the second international low carbon trade fair named Zhenjiang International Low Carbon Expo’17 from Sept 26 to 28.
The international low carbon expo is the first international trade fair on low carbon technical products, which is organized by a local government in China. There will be themed pavilions for four countries – the US, the UK, Australia and Austria - in this year’s expo. By August 29, a total of 222 enterprises have confirmed to participate in the expo as exhibitors, among which the number of foreign enterprises accounts for 45 percent, including 21 enterprises on the world’s top-500 list such as ABB from Switzerland, Dow Chemical and General Electric from the US.
The in-depth promotion of low carbon city construction has not only vigorously boosted Zhenjiang’s interactive advancement of both economic development and ecological construction, but also expanded its influence in low carbon construction. Zhenjiang was the only Chinese city to hold a “Zhenjiang City-Themed Day” activity at the China Corner during the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Paris of France. The first international low carbon trade fair was also held in Zhenjiang last November.
