JiangsuMinglida Group has invested 3.2 billion yuan on its light-weight aluminum auto parts project, one of the province’s large investment projects of emerging industries of strategic importance.
Backed up by the local government, the company spent some ten days to go through the approval formalities to ensure the speedy start of the construction.
The data on the progress of the project is transmitted to the intelligent monitoring and management system of the government’s office of major investment projects.
Not long ago, the construction was forced to come to a halt due to the environmental assessment and firefighting requirements. The related government departments noticed the situation on the system and wasted no time to make mediations to help fix the problems.
Benefiting from the government’s monitoring and management system, Minglida has been able to accomplish 100 million yuan of investment each month to culminate with a total investment of more than 800 million yaun so far.
The intelligent monitoring and management system has also enabled counties and urban districts to relay their numbers of the investment projects being constructed and fulfilled as well as the fund of the investment projects and the orderly progress of the projects.
The government departments concerned will analyze the situations and make assessment on the progress of the large investment projects. They will also make coordinated efforts to help resolve whatever problems that arise in the course of the monitoring.
As of early August, construction has been in full swing for the 129 large investment projects with 17.1 billion yuan of capital fulfilled, standing for an accomplishment rate of 95.6% and accounting for 48.4% of the annual investment to be fulfilled.
