Suzhou No. 7 People’s Hospital will be put into use next April after a major reconstruction and expansion project. The building work is nearly done and the phase of exterior decoration and equipment installation will be completed by the end of this year.

The hospital in Suzhou New District added 30,900 square meters of land and will have 128,000 square meters of floor space and 1,000 beds. The complex also includes a community clinic, a sewage treatment facility and a liquid oxygen station.
The hospital will have an in-patient building and a research and teaching building in second-phase development.
