  • Nearly 10 tons of hairy crabs are transported to Changchun City by Shunfeng Express via Boeing 737 cargo plane, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, September 18, 2018. The Yangzhou-Changchun cargo line is also opened the same day. This is the first cargo line that has been opened by Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport since 2012. After the peak time of transporting hairy crabs, the special line will gradually change to regular express routes.

  • “In the past, cargo transportation was subject to the frequency of regular flights, and could only fly according to the scheduled flight time. In addition, the regular passenger plane carries only 1-2 tons of cargo each time,” said Mr. Wang Dongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Yangzhou-Taizhou International Airport. “The full cargo planes that are used to transport hairy crabs this time greatly increase the cargo volume, and open up a brand-new mileage of the rapid development of Yangzhou-Taizhou International Airport.”
