BSH, a fully owned subsidiary of Bosch Group, launched its new Chinese research and development center in Nanjing Tuesday morning, which is the largest comprehensive R&D center in the world of BSH Group.
博西家电中国新研发中心启用仪式于9月22日在南京举行，此次启用的新研发中心是博西家电集团在全球最大的综合性研发中心。

An opening ceremony of the R&D center was held at Nanjing Economic & Technological Development Zone. It was announced on the ceremony that the center will serve as a crucial part of the long-term R&D strategy of BSH, and will focus on the development and innovation of the group’s core home appliance products.
启用仪式于南京经济技术开发区举行。该研发中心是博西集团研发战略的重要组成部分，启用后将承担博西家电核心产品的研发和创新。

博西家电集团大中华区总裁唐善达博士表示：“中国市场已经成为集团在全球最重要的市场之一。中国新研发中心大楼的启用标志着博西家电在华发展迈入重要的新篇章，展示了我们对于中国市场的坚定信心，更是我们坚持‘在中国，为中国’的理念以及根植中国市场的长期承诺。”

当日，江苏省副省长惠建林，江苏省政府副秘书长黄澜，南京市委常委、统战部部长华静，全国工商联副主席、苏宁控股集团董事长张近东，南京经济技术开发区管委会主任沈吉鸿，德国驻沪总领馆领事孔瑞超，中国家用电器协会副理事长王雷莅临活动，共同参与新研发中心启用仪式。随后，与会来宾在博西家电管理层的带领下参观了研发中心和实验室，进一步感受了新研发中心在高端创新和前沿技术研发方面的实力。
With an investment of more than 400 million yuan, the center will be operated by approximately 1000 research personnel. While integrating BSH’s R&D capacity of traditional home appliances, the center will push forward the exploration of cutting-edge technology such as IOT, smart appliance and industry 4.0.
研发中心总投资约4亿元人民币，预计将容纳1000名左右的研发人员。新研发中心还将进一步整合并加强博西家电的传统产品研发以及互联互通、智能家电、工业4.0智能制造等前沿技术和领域的探索和研发。

As a part of the German-invested company, the center will further boost the group’s integration into Jiangsu’s economic development trend, according to Hui Jianlin, Vice Governor of the province, who addressed the ceremony. It is reported that the utilized German investment in Jiangsu this year has reached 470 million USD.
博西家电持续根植中国市场二十余年并不断加大在华投资，此次新研发中心的启用展示了博西家电对于中国市场的坚定信心。据悉，以博西家电为代表的德资企业是江苏省的重要外资企业，今年1-8月德国在江苏协议投资4.7亿美元。包括德国在内的外商继续看好中国市场，今年1-8月江苏实际使用外资198.7亿美元，位居全国首位。
