The county level city of Kunshan released on Tuesday its three year action plan for the construction of a demonstration city under the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
Lan Shaomin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
According to the action plan, Kunshan will register 500 billion yuan of GDP in 2022 with its fiscal budget revenue exceeding 50 billion yuan.
With its industrial output exceeding 1 trillion yuan, the local residents will see their per capita disposable income surge to 75 thousand yuan.
4 billion US dollars of foreign capital will be introduced in the three-year period with 20 more enterprises to be listed on the stock market.
The city will register more than 3000 hi-tech firms backed up by a pool of 500 thousand talents.
It will also earn the honors of national demonstration city for cultural and ethical progress, for human habitat and livability, for safe development and for comprehensive social governance.
